IPRAS would like to welcome you to its new, redesigned website that can be found at www.ipras.org.

IPRAS is the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and it consists of 97 national associations, 35,000 residents in training, 30,000 Hand Surgeons, 1,000 Micro Surgeons and 1,000 Burn Specialists and provides substantial humanitarian work for over 50 years since it was created in 1955.

We redesigned our website in order to communicate our objectives, values and principles more clearly. Also we wanted to meet the ever growing needs of our members to provide relevant, useful, updated and credible information not only to the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery community but to those who are interested in plastic surgery in general. It is the meeting place for national associations, individual members and plastic surgeons to exchange information and view the latest developments in their specialty.

Prominent position in our new website is the presentation of our humanitarian work. Our main program is the “Women for Women” initiative that provides help to female patients who suffer from disfiguring and socially excluding trauma that often occurs out of ethnical or social traditions.
