About solvent extraction:

Solvent Extraction is a method to process materials using a kind of solvent to separate some components from the raw material. It refers to the process of extracting oil from oil bearing materials by means of solvent, a chemical way to extract oil. The cake from oil press section could also be used as raw material for solvent extraction plant.

Solvent Extraction, as the name suggests, is a process to extract the oil from oil bearing materials by means of solvent, and the normal solvent is Hexane-a kind of prtroleum by-product. The design of Qi’e machines is simple, multifunctional and easy to operate. And the Qi’e Edible Oil Solvent Extraction plants have been operating for more than three decades.

The plant is designed to extract oil directly from oil seed whose oil containing rate is less than 20% oil like soya bean after flaking or it extracts oils from pre-pressed or fully pressed cake of seeds with oil containing rate of more than 20% such as sunflower, peanuts, cotton seed, palm kernel, canola, copra, castor and various other materials.

Features of solvent extraction system:

1. Adopt stainless steel fixed grid plate and increase the horizontal grid plates, which can prevent the strong miscella from flowing back to the blanking case, so as to ensure good extraction effect.

2. The rotocel extractor is driven by rack, with unique rotor of balanced design, low rotating speed, low power, smooth operation, no noise and quite low maintenance cost.

3. The feeding system can adjust the rotating speed of airlock and main engine according to the feeding quantity and maintain a certain material level, which is beneficial to the micro negative pressure inside the extractor and reduce the solvent leakage.

4. The advanced miscella circulation process is designed to reduce the fresh solvent inputs, reduce the residual oil in meal, improve the miscella concentration and save energy by reducing the evaporation capacity.

5. The high material layer of the extractor helps to form immersion extraction, reduce the meal quality in miscella, improve the quality of crude oil and reduce the evaporation system scaling.
